Solr Private Cloud is a distributed deployment option for Apache Solr, an open-source search engine platform. It allows you to create a highly available and scalable search infrastructure by distributing Solr instances across multiple servers, or nodes, in a cluster.

In a Solr Private Cloud, you can create multiple collections of searchable data, each with its own configuration and replication factor. The data is automatically partitioned and distributed across the nodes in the cluster, providing high availability and fault tolerance.

A virtual private cloud (VPC) is a private network in the cloud that allows you to create and manage isolated virtual networks within a public cloud infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
